Glass has been part of human craft for thousands of years, yet it still surprises us. At Studio Monsoleil, we chose glass not as a trend but as a philosophy — it lets light through, it reflects the room, and it never competes with your space.
Light as a design element
Unlike wood or metal, glass doesn't absorb light — it plays with it. A Monsoleil coffee table catches the afternoon sun and scatters tiny rainbows across your floor. In the evening, it mirrors your candles. The piece changes character throughout the day, which means your room does too.
Strength in transparency
We use tempered glass rated to hold well beyond everyday use. Each sheet is heated to over 600°C and rapidly cooled, creating internal tension that makes it four to five times stronger than regular glass. It's the same technology used in car windshields and skyscraper facades.
A sustainable choice
Glass is 100% recyclable without any loss in quality or purity. Our production scraps go back to the furnace. And because a Monsoleil piece is designed to last decades — not seasons — you buy less, waste less, and live with something you genuinely love.
