Monsoleil nasıl doğdu
Monsoleil is an Istanbul-based design studio founded in 2021. Its collections are shaped around colour, simple geometric forms and material exploration, spanning furniture, lighting and decorative objects.
Meaning “my sun” in French, mon soleil reflects the light and joy behind the brand. Each piece is designed to bring colour, warmth and a lively energy into its surroundings. Each collection is produced in collaboration with local artisans in Istanbul, bringing traditional craftsmanship together with a contemporary and playful design language.

After studying architecture, I became interested in product design as a more personal way to explore colour, materials and the relationship between objects and spaces. This curiosity led me to establish Monsoleil in 2021. While growing the brand, I have continued to develop my own design approach. In 2023, I studied furniture design in Florence, where I experienced a different design culture and deepened my interest in materials and craftsmanship. Working closely with local artisans in Istanbul is an important part of this journey.
